Yeah. Definitely. Although I think their design philosophies will keep each prioritizing different things, but each will improve in the others area.

Since this post, I’ve submitted (not yet merged) a more performant version of Svelte which is about 10% more performant although it increases code size by 1kb. And the latest version of Solid which hasn’t been submitted yet has halfed the gap dropping~3kb with more clever compilation. That leaves the gap at about 18% (geometric mean) in performance and about 4kb in size.
